Admission to our Reception class is determined by the Local Education Authority criteria for admissions, which are as follows in prority order:
- Denominational preference (this does not apply to St Stephens)
- Current family association (elder child at school at time of entry)
- Health reasons (for which a medical certificate may be needed)
- Nearness of child's home and ease of access to the school.
Admission arrangements do not vary for children who have identified special educational needs but prior notice for a child with an existing Statement of Special Educational Need will be required to ensure the appropriate permanent support is in place.
